In a quest for redemption, a brother carries his younger sister on his back, wandering through the liminal streets between Germany and India and they meet two liminal trans*gender individuals and collectively discover a way to shed the weight of stories that we inherit and carry.
Liminality is a feature documentary that delves into the journey of two queer siblings, arjunraj (filmmaker) and Anjana strive to break free from the cycle of intergenerational pain by confronting their familial traumas. Together with two trans*gender friends, they collectively find solace and relief from pain and grief by being liminal.
